Like many of Hexage's releases, such as Evac and Radiant, Fireplace Screensaver HD is chock-full of neon effects, smooth animations, and lounge-electro house music. There are over 200 battles in the campaign to keep players occupied. Unfortunately, all battles are against the same robot, but with varying difficulty. We would've liked to have seen, at the very least, different robots to fight against or perhaps even a change of scenery once in a while to diversify the matches a bit more. Despite these drawbacks, Fireplace Screensaver HD is still a fun game to kill time with when you're commuting or taking a coffee break. Interestingly, Fireplace Screensaver displays a nag screen at break times that won't go away until your defined break time interval has lapsed. Although it doesn't give physical exercises to do at your desk, Fireplace Screensaver users and persons with repetitive stress injury might appreciate Fireplace Screensaver and the breaks it freely provides.
